Did you know that Italy is in Southern Europe and the capital of Italy is Rome? We have been finding Italy on the map of Europe as well as locating some of Italy’s most famous cities including: Venice, Florence and Pisa.

Tasting Italian food was delicious, who knew so many of us like olives!

Some other activities have included art inspired by Roman mosaics, learning about some of Italy’s most famous artists and learning a traditional Italian folk dance.

We hope to learn more about Italy and its history as we continue our Roman topic after the half term.
