Year Six's Week - 10.5.19

Published 10.5.19

This week we have created some excellent newspaper articles about the events taking place at Camp Green Lake, from a slightly biased viewpoint! They all looked superb - well done Year 6! The work that has been going on maths has astounded me - they have all put so much effort into the problem solving activities we have been challenging them with and their resilience has been wonderful to see. It was lovely to celebrate Mrs Makin's (special) birthday and watch as she spent the day parading her tiara around the classroom!! Finally, the week finished with a lovely trip to Waterstones with Carly-May, who was the winner of our Anthony Browne competition earlier this year. She chose a book for herself and one for the class to share. Don't forget that our special 'Year 6 Breakfast Club' is open from 8:15am all next week. Have a restful weekend and we will see you all bright and early on Monday morning.
