RHS Bridgewater

Year 1 have had an adventure exploring RHS Bridgewater. We had some classroom time learning about plant pollination where Freddie was even dressed up and made into a Freddie flower! The children then helped in the kitchen garden; harvesting chives, mint and blackcurrants, watering the vegetables and 'potting on' the lettuce. We also had some calm time in the relaxing garden then had a wonderful play on the wooden playground. Finally it was den building time and everyone helped to make some superb dens. We had an exhausting but enjoyable day!
