Year Six's Week - 3.5.19
Published 3.5.19
Lots of the children have been working hard in (and out of) school using their Read Theory accounts to improve their pace and comprehension. What a great attitude they've shown! We have been drafting newspaper articles, using 'Holes' as stimulus - is Camp Green Lake really that bad? Maths has been really productive all week where we have been solving some very difficult reasoning problems using all that we have learned this year - we are fully ready for whatever those reasoning papers have in store for us! Some of our class even went to a very challenging problem solving afternoon with Mr Dickenson and Mrs Watson. As usual, they represented our school superbly. Finally, the week finished with us researching facts about Mary Anning and fossils, ready to create informative booklets about her life. Keep finding out some facts about desert animals over the next couple of weeks in readiness for our report writing Year Six, but before that enjoy a break over this long weekend. We will see you all back on Tuesday.
