Nursery's Mouse Mansion

We have been using the text, Mouse Mansion, to develop our communication and language skills by learning new words and extending nouns by describing them.
After we had read some of the story, the children found mice footprints, cheese crumbs, a teeny tiny suitcase and a letter! In the letter the mice had told the children that a mean cat had destroyed their house and they need a new one before the winter.
From this, we created a STEM project where the children worked in teams to plan and design our very own mouse mansion and it looks fantastic!
